Faceted Bolivian amethyst, cut as flat rondelles and strung tight so the strand reads as one continuous surface. The color is pale, lavender rather than purple, which is what Bolivia produces. Three baroque pearls from Hangzhou interrupt it, white and irregular against the lilac.
